We recently have been working with our good friend Ryan Callinan on boards. Ryan is one of our favourite goofy footers! He has an unbelievable rail game full of power and drive yet can pull off some of the most tweaked aerials we’ve seen to date! The models that we’ve been throwing at him at are to suit his progressive style. The short board we have been doing is our Splinta model. A high volumed performance shorty with a lot of concave to create speed and hold for all those hacks, yet also creating lift! which is a key element for your aerial game. Second is the Ghost. A step down shorty designed for fun beach breaks and similar conditions that the WQS grind normally offers. The Ghost has a flattened rocker to help with planing through dead sections and gaining speed. The Ghost also has a lot of concave, with the deepest point under the front foot. This makes gaining speed an breeze when surfing down the line. Another great model to suit Ryan’s above the lip surfing. Below are some images and board dims of his latest quiver.

Splinta: 6’0 x 19 x 2 3/8 – 28L

Splinta: 5’11 x 19 2 3/8 – 27.69L

Ghost: 5’10 x 19 1/8 x 2 3/8 – 27.6L
